We apologize for the lapse in updates…we have been taking things one day at a time. Lily is currently resting. On Thursday, she had her feeding tube removed from her nose and a new gtube placed in her stomach– a good thing since it was causing her discomfort in her nose and throat and is not intended for long term use. She will be able to get additional nutrition which is good all around. She lost some of her sweet meat since she has been here and we are eager to get it back on her!
We continue to to have physical/speech therapy sessions with her and remain very encouraged and hopeful with her responses. We also have acupuncture sessions with her three days a week. We will continue to keep everyone updated on Lilys progress.
Lily, Leslie, Char and I cannot thank everyone enough for all your love, prayers, thoughts and support!
