A quick entry tonight because so many of you have sent emails to me expressing concern and wishing they could help now. What you can do is send anything you would like to Lily, stuffed animals, cards, comfort items, artwork for her walls. You can drop them off at CHOC Friday or wait till the weekend when they anticipate being able to welcome visitors including classmates and friends. We will post details about what to expect and remind everyone of visitation protocol so we can keep Lily as healthy as possible late Friday. Jim and Les can feel all your love and support and appreciate all the guest book signings keep them coming!
PS. Lily was visited again today by the CHOC ‘therapy dogs’, this time two of the cutest Sheltie dogs you have ever seen came and snuggled with Lily in her bed, yep even PICU patients benefit from the love and healing these trained dogs provide. We will get more photos up soon!
