Les and Jim ask that you keep Lily in your heart and in your prayers for her this morning as she undergoes her first heart procedure, a heart study. Wires fed through femoral arteries that lead to her heart will inject dye so they can see what happens to Lily’s heart when it beats irregularly. Basically they bring her heart to the point of arrhythmia, similar to the sequence of events that lead to her cardiac arrest on July 8th and hope to learn exactly what happens and formulate the best treatment plan for her recovery.
As you can imagine time is going by very slowly today as we await her return to PICU from the operating room. Her team of doctors and nurses are not allowing visitors until further notice, you may send cards, stuffed animals, artwork but the PICU does not allow flowers or balloons.
